While I enjoyed traveling myself, it wasn't until a friend introduced me to the idea of becoming a travel advisor that I discovered a career that felt like a natural fit. I realized I could combine my love of planning with the joy of helping others create experiences they would remember for a lifetime.

What began as a passion for travel soon became a passion for something even deeper: helping people celebrate life's most meaningful moments together.

One of the experiences that shaped my journey was organizing a group jazz cruise. Like many first-time group travel planners, I encountered unexpected challenges and quickly learned that successful travel requires much more than making reservations. It opened my eyes to the countless details involved in coordinating a memorable experience and taught me the importance of anticipating needs, solving problems, and looking at the bigger picture.

After that cruise, I began inviting friends and family to join me on future vacations. Those trips became some of the most meaningful experiences of my life. There is something incredibly special about traveling with the people you care about most. You find yourself reminiscing about cherished memories, laughing until your sides hurt, creating new traditions, and experiencing moments that strengthen the bonds you share.

When we travel together, something beautiful happens. The distractions and stresses of everyday life fade into the background. We become more present with one another. Conversations deepen. Connections grow stronger. Love flows more freely. The experience has a way of reminding us of what truly matters and bringing joy into our lives.

As more and more people reached out to me for help planning vacations centered around birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, retirements, and other milestone occasions, I noticed a common theme: they weren't simply booking trips. They were celebrating.

That's what inspired me to rename my business Travel To Celebrate.

The name reflects what I believe travel is truly about: creating opportunities to gather, connect, honor life's important milestones, and make memories with the people who matter most.

Today, my clients trust me because I genuinely care about their experience from beginning to end. I pride myself on thinking through the details others may overlook, providing guidance on destinations and travel requirements, helping navigate unexpected challenges, and ensuring every traveler feels supported throughout the journey.

Perhaps most importantly, I want everyone to feel like they belong. I believe the best celebrations happen when people feel welcomed, included, and cared for.
